Workshops

Urban Connection Project offers mini workshops that will teach participants how to get a grant.  Participants will learn everything they need to know about applying for grants from completing paperwork, documentation needed, capacity building, partnerships, sustainability, and the grant selection process.  This interactive workshop will teach applicants how to search for grants and will review grant proposals.  It will also focus on helping future grantees avoid the common mistakes and pitfalls in dealing with grant funding.  Participants are encouraged to network at these sessions in order to build service partnerships.

Mini workshops are held on Saturdays for approximately 2 ½ hours.

Classes

Urban Connection Project offers grant writing intensive trainings that will enable participants to write their own grants and develop their own programs.  Training sessions generally meet over a course of two (3), three hour sessions.  Scheduling is flexible.  Classes are only held during September, December and March of each year.

Customizable Training Workshops

Urban Connection Project offers training programs that will fit the need of your company.  Training sessions are provided on team building, leadership training, and diversity, customer service, working with and/or engaging youth, and program development for outreach and/or community services.  Customizable sessions are generally flexible and can be held onsite or offsite.  For more information and/or price quotes, please click here.
